£5,000 raised for Organ Restoration Fund – IN ONE EVENING!

n the 20th of March 2016 an amazing £5,000 was raised through ticket sales and donations for a concert held in St Mary’s, Reigate, Surrey (UK) aimed at raising awareness of the magnificent church organ originally designed by John William Gritton, Peter’s great-grandfather, almost 100 years ago and in serious need of repair. The concert consisted entirely of music from the Gritton family – John W Gritton (1850-1928), Stanley Gritton (1883-1974), Eric Gritton (1889-1981), Peter’s parents Robin and Patsy Gritton, as well as Peter himself.
At this event, Peter’s reflective Choral Prayer was performed.
