The GREAT BIG Little Symphony – Two Premieres in less than a month!

The GREAT BIG Little Symphony is rapidly gaining a reputation among communities as a powerful tool to inspire young instrumentalists.
Sunday 17 April 2016 – The GREAT BIG Little Symphony is first performed by pupils of James Allen’s Girls’ School in St John’s, Smith Square, London, with the student parts played by Middle School pupils (aged 9-11) and the main Symphony Orchestra parts taken by Senior School pupils (aged 12-18). The renowned James Allen’s Girls School is where Gustav Holst and Vaughan Williams once taught music!
Monday 16 May 2016 – less than a month later the GREAT BIG Little Symphony is staged by pupils of Thomas’s, Battersea in London with the successful London-based professional orchestra Southbank Sinfonia providing the thrilling symphonic backdrop.
